Many of these were printed in Robbie William's Black Canyon guide book. Others appeared in Alpinist magazine and other publications.
Here is the back story. Back in the 80s I took a two year teaching position in Texas. To keep my sanity I would sketch up these 'toons as remembrances of events and experiences then write a letter to the character involved and mail them. All those 'toons are based on real events from my days in the ditch. Many, many moons later the recipients graciously returned the originals to me for my collection. I have always loved sharing them even though that big bad meanie Tami has scolded be for giving them away. And I must admit that as an old stage performer addicted to the sound applause and a part time attention whore I really appreciate getting positive feedback for them. So the mostest postivest feedback you could give me now is to help Big Mike at this time.
Humor me, make me think my work is worth getting a broken brother back on his feet.
I know the struggle and hardship first hand. And I owe my life to those who came to my aid. I am just trying to pay it back or pay it forward in a manner fitting with this forum.

The goal is to go from this state
to this.

and I don't mean growing a grey beard. Unless you've been there it's hard to understand just how long and hard a road it is.

If any one is still in contact with Fattrad let him know he can have the original of the Emperor Daftrat 'toon for a proper donation to the fundraiser. And Thank him most robustly for his generous donation of $500 to last years AAC Iranian Women's climbing exchange.

I was thinking more along the lines of a little hottie casually strolling up her v8 warmup with a bunch of ass worshipers below, dogs sleeping on the pads, 3' tick marks, and the word "neoyce" somewhere in there... but it is a good start!

Thanks Hankster that is very kind of you to say. It isn't "LOST" in the literal sense but in the figurative. Julia has it and she is lost.
