Saw Billy last night for a quick ~30min visit before they booted me out to do some nursing stuff.
He's in pretty good spirits and getting good care. Because of the surgery, he is basically confined to a lying down position, can't really move around or sit up yet, but will be fixed up with some S&M looking gear soon..like some leather chest harness and chains and sh#t (should look like Rob Halford, circa '89) to allow him to sit up without causing problems with the back/surgery area.
Had just finished what looked like a gnarly bland plate of hosptial food enchiladas...or at least that's what they claimed it was anyway, I have my doubts!. Lots of sweet and attractive nurses taking care of him.
I'm headed back tonight after work. No food, drink, etc allowed on the ICU, (seemed like flowers were a "no" too) so if you are sending well wishes, maybe stick to cards or similar for now.
Also, he does have his phone, but doesn't get the best signal in his room. Long and difficult road ahead, keep sending him your best.

Doesn’t he already have some of this stuff in his storage locker? I mean, if he can use some of his own gear, maybe they can knock a few bucks off the bill.
