You answer your own question in the OP

The great commie guns were supplied by Bulgaria and still are it seems.

They have some excellent companies that predate communism.

Good Question...

When we went to Bulgaria a few years ago for a friends wedding (and to ski-mighty fine skiing too I might add) I met the brides father. Nice guy. He had my family over for a x-mas dinner and we stayed close by at the ski resort where the wedding took place.

Over drinks (home made booze) and cigars we talked about the general state of affairs in their country as they were closing on the possibility of joining the EU.

Found out he continued to make much of his money in arms manufacturing and sales. When I asked him what kind of arms he replied, 'pretty much the full range. From tanks and missiles to pistols.'

Wonder how he's doing now.
Probably richer

Any of you ever stood on stage lugging a Les Paul backed up with a couple of Marshall stacks?

Probably not.

Commie weapon of choice is a big ax, not a gun.
