So right now, no one has a longer El Cap life than me 38 years from my first to latest route. Jim will shatter that record resoundingly!

Sweet! Go Jim!

Not sure which is more awesome...the mission or that Donini is itching to break out of his comfort zone.

Awesomeness.

It can't be done.

One must retire and stay home and watch Jerry Springer episodes at their age.

There's no climbs for old men ......

A whole rack of blue #3 BD c4's for the
NIAD ought to be a record too.

Whatever mark this strong team sets in the 69 and older category won't be challenged for a good long while I betcha.

Unless you are committed to following the original route, the free variation from Sickle (5.10d) to reach the very bottom of the Stovelegs is direct and allows you to easily bypass the average party dealing with two pendulums. Fun way to stretch out the Stovelegs too!

As a NIAD climber how do you get passed several other parties that are in the middle of their leads while you are going for it? That may make it complicated, there are a lot of ppl on el cap when they are going.

Seriously, sponsorship opportunities here are major.
