Carry loads, score pins, get stoked, stoned or otherwise perturbed, call it. You too, Weege. I can already see you guys at the top.

Sounds fun Wayno. Start of May is when we're doing it. Unless your vacation time is now dedicated to COR in which case i really want to do that too!

Positive vibes for Big Mike and the Norwegian to send on the Big Stone

thanks Truckee. I've got the itch big time! I've been studying topos of it like a mad man, trying to figure out haul strategies and possible pitch linkages.

All best wishes toward making this incredibly worth pursuing objective a reality. You guys can do it, if you want it badly enough!

Thanks Wayne! you're such an inspiration man. If you can fight your body up El Cap it should be easy for any of us "Able" types!!

These injuries give you pause, but the challenge gives a fighting spirit worthy adversary.

Thanks Jeebs. It definitely has put a spin on the way I look at things days. Anything is possible as long as you want to put the work in to make it happen.

Love ya too Tami!!

I know that in the months, and years, ahead, you will find much healing, and continue to make incredible progress!!

Thanks Wayne. The goal is to be stronger than before.

Maybe some of yer pals from GFS didn't have access to certain medicines.........

That's for sure. One of my buddies is still in the hospital. It's so sad. he's had so many complications because of the medication and getting sick.

STOKE!

Ya Philo! U know all about it!! How's the neck feeling these days??

Sometimes the worst thing to happen to you can also be the best. Happy for you man.

I know.. I know lol. I'm starting to see the silver lining in all the body awareness I've gained from this incident. The feeling in my left big toe is starting to come back. Now if my foot could just feel normal again instead of buzzing all the time.. it seems like that is going to happen though. It will just take time.

You'll keep mending for some years to come (this is good)!
Thanks Glenn. Looking forward to roping up this summer.

Your and Sandra's struggle toward rehabilitation for you has been inspirational

Thanks Keith. This is a good point too. As many have said on here it is often harder on the partner. This is certainly true and I've been making efforts lately to help Sandra more in this regard. It`s been difficult indeed but so far, we seem to surviving the storm.

Big Mike is back.

And he says... Oh my BACK!! ;) I`m pretty damn sore today after dogging up Crime yesterday..

Sending some get well wishes
Thanks Currvy. They`re working!!

Are you coming to Woodfest in May? That would be awesome.

Andrzej, Seth I would love to join you guys, but I`m already booked for an El Cap ascent in early May and then I have to come home and start work.. :P Next Year?? Or would one of you like to meet me in Vegas in early April? ;)

Swing towards Haines next year (no snow this year), bring your rev and I'll show you around Nadahini and Three Guardsman.

Treez, That sounds awesome! I just got the rev purring so now i gotta catch up on my truck maintenance.. lol

Dingus, I got a special post brewing just for you buddy.

Hey Big Mike, you still on the Lyrica? Yea or nay can you discuss a little bit about your experience with this drug? Did it help and if so, how? And for how long? Did you notice when you 'went off it' or forgot a dose or three?

Happy to see you doing so well. I'm doing pretty good too. Been meaning to ask you more about Lyrica; its been on my mind lately.

Hey Ding.

I ditched Pregabalin about 2 and a half months after my injury. The doctors switched me to Gabapentin for a couple weeks and then I ditched that too.

I definitely noticed a slight increase in the shooting nerve pain frequency initially, but after 4 or 5 days that eased quite considerably.

I still have nerve pain occasionally but it's usually in an area that i haven't had sensation since my injury. For example the other night my left big toe was hurting, and now I can kinda feel it when I kick the table with it. lol

I didn't really notice any side effects of coming off it per say. Not like these opiates which really have an effect on my mood i'm coming to find out. I have more to write on that later..

How is the drop foot coming? if it's still bugging you, get that dictus i was talking about and you'll have it sorted out within the month!!!
