One of my favorite ST people. I love his attitude and always upbeat. Very difficult to hear this. I LOVED the Vegas TR and all his other postings just filled with great stuff.

Don't know if I know you, Dude. Doesn't matter. I will be 'sending. Not the rock this time, but Huge positive thoughts and prayers that you will heal well.
Time outs like this can be positive when you use them to reflect on life.

Having just spent 5 weeks in the hospital with a compound leg fracture my heart goes out to Big Mike. That's a tough injury but those docs are first rate and we trust you'll pull out fine.

Holy crap, this is ungood. Really sorry to hear this, Mike. I've only met you a few times, but it doesn't matter. Get better soon. You still owe me a day on the rock, sometime next fall. I'm sure you'll be better long before that.

There will be some dark days ahead Mike, but ride them out in the knowledge that you'll be back on your horse eventually.
Most of us who know you here have been through our own variation on what you're going through now, and I think I can speak for pretty much everybody in saying we are all going to be cheering for you, and will pitch in to do whatever we can to help.
