Trap me like a rat in a sink ship and don't let me move my legs for a few hours, fuel it with a couple of drinks and my skin CRAWLS and I can bite the head off Gandhi's grandma. Been a rough week and Ive been on the road purt near constantly for a month.

It really is getting me tonight. But thank you CCman, tami and ron.

Got a little Fergie in my ear right now oddly it helps :-) Be Free.

Opium.

It's natural, green, non-polluting, carbon-friendly, and you can grow poppies right in your own yard without the involvement of any criminal cartels.

And most of all, it does relieve anxiety.

Works really well in combination with yoga.

Dude, I just caught up with your pics of the alps! Obviously a different time/place for us both. Sorry to hear you are feeling anxious. No doubt things will be fine.

True anxiety hit me once in my life when I was fired from a job simply because my boss was "threatened" by me. Even going through ovarian cancer and chemo didn't give me the depth of anxiety I had after losing my job. I would trade depression, poor health, almost anything for the anxiety I felt. I can't think of a worse emotional or physical state than full blown anxiety.
Hang in there....

Don 't feel too bad Dingus
I'm sort of in the same boat.
I've only seen my Wife for 2 days
since Jan 10. It gets lonely staying in a 8x10 trailer
when I'm working in cali. Hopefully I will be able to get HOME for a couple of days by the end of march.

at least you don't 'ave
a giant claw foot bathtub
in the middle of your garage floor;

it awaits a bather, i shy away
im just trying to park my rig outta
the rain so i can extract the
alternator,

that went all hayzeus
when that metallic object shot thru
the sky just over-our-head,

and the worst part of the
situation that's mine and
luckily not yours
(im trying to easy your anxiety)
is that this dam clawfoot basin
has no feet, no claws,
it's kinda quadrapalegic,
right there in the center of my garage,
so i painted a blue square around it
and i wrench on my truck in the rain

Bad Ghost. Although I've grown the poppy myself. It's legal-grey-area here.........it's just it's .............uhhh, product.........that isn't.

I can't believe how much you travel for work. You need some serious down time there in order to keep yer crackers crunchie and not all gooey like they were dipped in sh1t. :-)

My ten-year-old daughter said to me the other day following a major mishap: "everything happens for a reason," a phrase I have needed to utter to her from time to time; the prefect excuse, I thought. It all seems to circle back to its origin. Many episodes I have had with such are events - I use it to focus on understanding myself, accepting my own feelings, and sometimes savoring instead of shunning anxiety (sort of like Judo). Surprisingly, it very often works!

22 days and counting with the flu.

I have no idea what to say about anxiety except it sucks. Plenty of experience, just nothing to say.

DMT, you never owe me an apology. You're a bigger part of the tribe here than I am with many good miles under your feet and tales to enjoy and share. Thanks for the stories and insights.
