Who we are: Nationally accredited summer camp located right outside of Hardy, AR in need of high adventure directors and guides for our 2013 summer camp season beginning the last week of May and running through the second week in July.

Who you should be: Recreational climber/caver. We are looking at filling two positions.

1) Climbing tower director: Experienced climber who can run and maintain a 40 ft. climbing/rappelling tower in camp and is capable of leading a day long climbing trip outside of camp. Must be 21 y.o. or older. Pay is between $250-$300/wk.

2) Climbing guide: Intermediate climber who can assist other high adventure staff in out of camp climbing treks at a nearby climbing ranch. Must be 18 y.o. or older. Pay is between $150-$250/wk and is negotiable based on age and experience.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED contact me ASAP. If you know someone else who fits either of our descriptions PASS THIS ALONG!

Thanks! director@kiakima.com

Oh, brother....here we go again.

OP, you're gonna get a good flaming here from the greybeard regulars here, so pay it no mind. If you're lucky, a lurker might see this post and make contact. Good luck with that.

Good for a college student or something. Killer sandstone and southern girls-- could be worse.

Ease up, apogee, he knows we still love us some Arkansas rock climbing. And
I assume he is man enough to not begrudge a bunch of old slobberers our
little fun.

Besides, some of us know some famous guides have come out of
the fine state of Arkansas.

Thanks for the responses, all!

We are a non-profit youth leadership organization and usually hire college/professional school aged adults who have their summers off and are looking for free room and board while earning a little bit on the side. Sorry to get anyone's hopes up.

Please pass this along to anyone you might know who would fit this description.

Best of luck to you all as you search for your next guide job!
