Well, Todd hasn't climbed in my front yard, but he's invited any time. Room to camp, bring the family, public park with a cold quarry pool, berry picking, and on the way to better stuff further north. Oh yeah, climbing too...

Some place to tether the children to while you're climbing also.

The Black Star boulder? I think it's in the Hunk guide. I've been there with the man (RV) himself.
looking sketchy there...

The Black Star boulder? I think it's in the Hunk guide.

Rode right past it on the bike a couple weeks ago. Sits not more than 50 feet off the dirt road.

And I'm pretty certain Todd has not climbed at the much reviled "5 Minute Crag."

I've climbed on the Cracked wall in Ophir.........close but no cigar.

Yes, cigar! I'd say Cracked Canyon is close enough to count . . . you have a feel for the venue.

Take care of yourself.

Has he been back east?

Even if he has, I could name area after area he's never been to.

God, you guys are so California-centric.

Haven't heard from Randishi lately...LOL.

Do your research before you flame a well-traveled climber is the lesson here.

But seriously - Rumbling Bald? T-Wall? Whiteside? Linville Gorge? Big Green?

I figure you have been to the usual suspects: Seneca, Gunks, The New, The Red...

The Big Green.. that place is eerie. Makes Tuolumne's runout slabs look grid-bolted by comparison. No one ever climbs there except one or two insane Southerners and a handful of dead guys. The chigger death-march approach alone should be enough reason to scratch that one from your bucket list...but you shouldn't ;)
