Yep-One of the most cherished items on the old Lodge menu in the early 60s. Cheap, little salad sometimes and always a bag of potato chips. If your fav Camp 4 waitress was on duty probably free. Did I say cheap?

Must be right before my time. Brought down standards way more than no cams, swami belts and non sticky rubber shoes.

Guido? Was it too early for Brats on a bun?

Heidi & I identified Brats----or hot dogs, tomato, pickles, ketchup, & mustard?

Hey Joe, did you actually take a picture of that thing fifty years ago? You have done an amazing job documenting the era, but I hadn't realized the depth and thoroughness of your endeavor.

Thought for sure you would come up with the name. No that is a staged shot, cheap-ass Curry Company would never come up with such a deal.

Hint-Think popular tv program that is no longer around but mainstay of excitement the past decade.

Beck, BBA....................? Tune up the memory bank!

I'll take two. I'm a sucker for cheap ass sandwiches.

Speaking of sandwiches, how's your ex wife Guido? HA! Damn I crack me up in a non-PC way sometimes...

I can't remember its official name, but it was a butterflied hot dog, and about the best way for my perpetually-broke self to get a reasonably filling meal without ramen.

Time to bump this up for the weekend crowd of old geezers and maybe we can catch one of them checking into ST after a wild night of Bingo?

Butterflied Hot Dog is what I recall calling it, but I don't know for sure if that's what the Lodge Coffee Shop called it.

I preferred their burgers. And a chocolate shake.

Did it have anything to do with the tv show Sierra?
