Beautiful indeed.
(But when I clicked on the "Man Who Could Fly" link below the Moonwalk video, I got a "Unable to find this video" message from the Nat Geo website. Is it just not available yet? or did I just encounter a glitch?)

Next time around I'm comin' back as Dean Potter. . . not for the wingsuit flying - not for the chopper rides. . . but for getting away with taking his doggie deep into Yosemite and not getting busted for it!
How does that work?
?

His dog is registered as a service animal.
So it's legal .....

thats right. They are seeing eye dogs.
There was a guy living in Banff once who took his dog everywhere with him, even on commercial flights. All he did was get some dark glasses, a white cane and an official looking harness for the mutt!
got the link now

No they're not.
Quit making up sh!t pertaining to Dean.
They are not all seeing eye dogs.
Dean registered the dog as a service animal and there are several different attributes as to being trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual.

sorry. I should have inserted a little smiley face.
I thought it would be fairly obvious that Dean Potter dosn't have an vision problem. You have to admit that that little trick with the cane and sun glases might come in handy in the yos back countrey though eh?
Are they search dogs or something?

Anyone know where the photographer was located when he took the video? The article says he was ~ 1 mile away. Was he over by Medlicott?
