Dean,

The only irrefutable proof of the divine I know, are dogs and music.

Take care,

I feel for you, Dean. I am a cat owner in particular but I love all animals and I think this post on The Oatmeal is poignant as well as funny http://theoatmeal.com/comics/dog_paradox

So sorry to hear about Cush, he's a nice dog.
Bacon! Awesome he enjoyed a treat though.

Hang in there, try to get some fluids in him. Just remember, you have lots of love surrounding all of you.

Sorry to hear that, and I feel your pain. Lost a Lab to a stroke earlier this year, and the worst thing was that I was gone on a business trip when it happened. Be glad you got the time that you did. I'm sure he feels your love.

The night started out a bit rough, but he settled down and has been resting comfortably with us here on the floor.

It is going to be one of those extraordinary Fall days here today...colors SO vibrant, air so clean and pure. I will dig his grave this morning in our meadow, amidst these amazing things that have been so much of his life.

My heart aches...but is full.

Best Wishes to Cush, you and your family Dean. They're only around long enough to show us what it's like to be perfect.

My prayers are with you...Went thruogh same thing. Slept on floor for days. After thousands spent on vet bill, They charged us to put him down, Wife did not tell me until later. I would have done something I would have regreted. My little dog "Bumpy" is at peace now under the apple tree...Frank..

Oh, I am in tears. Had been wondering how Cush has been faring.

A few days after Teddy passed, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling his presence. It seemed he told me "Next time, I'm going to be a BIG dog!" I brushed away a tear and thought "How come?" and he replied in a very happy voice "It just seems like big dogs have a lot of fun!" I still smile at recalling that moment, and have to say that Teddy definitely had a thing for Yellow Labs. He adored them, over any and every other breed, for some reason, and at that time I was sure he had the idea of being a Yellow Lab in mind.

I know that if Teddy can meet Cush at the rainbow bridge, he will be as happy to see him as can be. God bless you, Cush, and my heartfelt condolence to your human family as this time.
