Love this thread - thanks all!

Every single time I drive by this house I get mesmerized wondering whose it is and how awesome that person must be:

My nephew, 15, borrowed my dslr for the day and went shooting in San Francisco. Big move for him because he doesn't speak much English and hadn't gone to the city by himself yet - he was skeered of having to speak to people on BART.

Thought this shot he brought back was pretty great. Reminds me of the stuff the awesome photographer at the NYT does, Bill Cunningham, candid stuff on the street. Asked him if he wanted to crop it or edit it or anything, nope, just like it is:

I agree about your nephew's photo, le bruce, and the house in the distance. The outdoors is beautiful but people fascinate us. What kind of life do they lead?

Yes Randisi. I live next to Glacier NP and shooting wildlife is becoming one of my favorite things to do. Mt goats are extra fun because I get to combine climbing and wildlife photography.

The sun burns the cloud layer off fast. Only a short window of time to catch the shot ^

Sundown at the same spot a day later. Crazy marine layer rolling in fast and breaking like waves.
15 minutes later it was pea-soup visibility.
