I came home to my little Casita after being gone a week and a wonderful gift greeted me illustrating so beautifully the words Grace and Love.

These flowers must have seeded from the prior year and then decided to bloom in exactly the right spot for me to enjoy them.

Their very location spoke eloquently to me, encouraging me to embrace life and its random beauty and stop trying so hard to make the beauty happen.

I love the parables life gives us, if we just pause to reflect on the things around us. Joy and Peace, lynnie

That is a great instance of serendipity, Lynnie! I was just telling my wife how I love this time of year. Everything is coming in new and green, lots of new growth, blossoms and little surprises of plants forgotten from last year. I think it goes back to my days growing up in New England, where after a long, seemingly endless winter, how it was such a joy and inspiration to see the buds and leaves and green returning. Spring is a kummin!

Of course, New England still has another month of lingering winter before they're totally safe! Ha ha!
