Mouse,

According to Rich Calderwood, the name came from an earlier attempt by Calderwood and Jeff Foott, rather than from Bridwell and Kor. According to Rich, he was pounding his hammer against the rock in a way that made it seem like he was pounding it against the rope while Foott was cleaning the pitch, as a sort of joke. Needless to say, Foott didn't find it particularly funny, and they came down. The climb became known thereafter as "Foot's Folly," later simply "The Folly."

Let's see some pictures of all these #1 Crack N' Ups.

For "Tom Frost saying only three were made" there seems to be lots of people that have them.
