No one is going to tumble over a cliff and freeze from a phrase in the dark.
This is a non event of political brinksmanship. There are months worth of extensions to your current budget that will shield you all from falling on your head.
It would be OK and more interesting though, if the Republicans learned some new tricks other than sitting on their old, grey fat asses and folding their arms.
