that's all fine and good... there are plenty of people far bolder than I could ever be... I've seen plenty of bold people lead plenty of bold sh#t, some of whom are no longer living...
But the point is, he can't take some sh#t slinging on an internet forum? Even when he is doing some of the slinging? WTF!
I hope he is THAT bold... I hope he realized what a waste of time this place is... I hope he is out climbing bold sh#t... but if he up and left because some sh#t was slung his way... especially by a pussy like me... or that Douchrey guy who doesn't even know how to tape... seriously? pffft!

Plus I see people who have been here for a long time and have been neck deep in the gnar coming out for Jeremy.
Slingin' some sh#t is fine for anyone, but just being all swole on the web and not backing it up in the for real as Jeremy has is the height of weak sauce. So spew away little boyz, Jeremy is the real thing.

My two cents.
I don't know why Jeremy took a disliking to Burchey. I figured that there was some history there that I didn't know. I also didn't know why people liked Jeremy except he seemed to be a good climber who people liked in person and he posted good trip reports. Lke mechrist, I saw him talk a lot of sh#t, so it was a bit confusing to me why people liked him so much. Ekat liked him, Bruce liked him and others liked him, so I just ignored the crap talk and eventuallyI saw some of what he posted as humorous. But it is a hard humor to understand without knowing the background.
If he is a good guy, then I'm sorry that he left. But I do agree with burchey and mechrist that he was talking sh#t. I didn't see anything that burchey did that warranted some of the responses that Jeremy gave, so none of this is making a whole lot of sense, except that I think some people are jumping to conclusions without really knowing. That, or they have history from other forums.
I also think that people didn't understand when someone was joking, such as some of Burcheys attempts at humor. I misread peoples joking tone often. Its hard to read between the lines sometimes when you don't fully know the players and you don't know their sense of humor.

Sometimes this place gets to me too, then I remember I choose to be here and I have the power what to read and post. Letting others get to me is my problem. I think Jeremy decided to take a step back and he'll be back.

Jeremey's TRs inspired me to go to the Fishers and have a f*#king blast earlier this month. For that I'm grateful. Fully in agreement with who he seems to consider an as#@&%e.

Bouch is the voice of Russell Brand, so he is usually pretty funny. He's posted climbing pictures... nothing too inspiring unless you are building a mummy out of climbing tape. But his excuse for posting like a fool... well... he probably is a fool and he is here... so there you have it. What more of an excuse do you need?
