To Ron, a climber, a man with the heart of gold, and a Supertopian.

My political views a pretty much oposite of Ron's. I am pro gun control, he is against it. So?

I will have a beer with him. And I am buying!

I gotta hand it to the guy. He gets slammed left and right, and stays right in there, usually just as cheerful as ever. Reminds me of Lois, that way.

Cheers to you, Ron.

I'd rather have a beer with Ron than have to explain myself over wine to some of the text message schooled communicators...

I'd buy him a beer, too.

Ron's awesome, I don't read the political threads but he's got some great climbing stories & when he tells them you can tell he is excited to share & truly grateful for all the time he's had on the rock.

hehe,, id have a beer or maybe a cognac with most anyone here.

Im very appreciative of the time ive been able to spend in this rather ridiculous pursuit of entertainment known as climbing. That being the primary reason i joined this sight. Then i get to communicate with guys i only used to read about, and meet many new folks or BITD-ers i never knew. It is a gas around here - the history contained within this site alone makes it worthy of some hall of fame setting. Im just a tiny speck of it all but ill happily share what i can wherever i can. Even those i butt heads with have that offer. ;^)

ps,, never i thought id see a thread like this ! But thanks, and BACKATCHAS...

Grand Marnier after dinner? Ron is someone I'd love to share a beer, cognac, wine, or a rope with (if he doesn't mind pulling).

Ron is a good guy, although I've never met him.

I'm always more comfortable around people who use their real names than people who use avatars, Biotch.

One has to admire principled, plainspoken inbdividuals. I haven't followed Ron's threads that closely but he seems pretty genial considering the demonization he's subjected to...an indicator of conviction and humane intentions, in my opinion.

...wish we could make our way with less sneering and ridicule.

I'm sure he's a good guy, even if he can't catch bass in Meek's Bay.

Ron is a good man. Met him earlier this year at an HH for Crimpie and BrassNuts up in Reno. The only problem with the guy is he kinda looks like Locker.

Ron Rocks!
Being new to the campfire, he has always been friendly, informative and encouraging to me. He's a walking encyclopedia of Tahoe area climbing history. A Woodfords legend and current watchdog.
Wish I'd have known him BITD.
I look forward to sharing a rope, toke, joke and drink with him in 2013.
