. Yer right Tami. I hadn't been to a movie theater in a few years, but went to see Chasing Ice last week or two. Definitely worth it!

Man - I love movies- I cant wait to see this.
Nutjob - one other movie you should go see is Lincoln....amazing...intellegent...

If anybody did not already watch the humongous (7.4 cubic kilometers) ice calving event that GDavis posted, here's one more chance:

What we're looking at is the great glacier outlet near the Greenland town of Ilulissat. The movie calls it the Ilulissat Glacier; it's also known as the Jakobshavn Glacier or (Danish) Jakobshavn Isbrę. This huge outlet, the largest on Greenland's west coast, drains more than 6% of the Greenland Ice Sheet. Its rapid retreat, 18 km in the past 12 years alone, is being watched closely by glaciologists.
