Hi, my name is Adam Little, a third year student studying Outdoor Studies BSc at Manchester Metropolitan University in Cheshire, UK. I'm currently conducting research for a thrid year project into the potential differences between why men and women choose to climb. You don't have to complete the questionnaire whatsoever but if you do all results are completely ANONYMOUS. I thank you in advance for your time. The questionnaire is 8 questions long and will take about 5-10 minutes, if that. Any comments, queries or suggestions please feel free to contact me at 10291871@stu.mmu.ac.uk. Thank you.

Simply click on the link below and follow the instructions.

Bump for a good cause. Good luck with your research and studies! You should get some...er...interesting and lively responses from this group, I hope. ;D

I'm not at all certain at this point whether climbing is a choice or a compulsion, though I've only just begun to get drawn in...

We were just looking for some place to get loaded where the cops couldn't reach us. It just took off from there.

What job are you planning on getting with that?

I mean no disrespect. I do respect the Sh#t out of someone who will go after what they love, instead of money.

one of the reasons you can pick is

Freedom/Challenge of climbing a route... I guess that's pretty much the same thing...

You wasted your education to research this stupid sh!t?

No wonder nothing in the world works anymore.

Don't people do any practical work anymore?

They just make up stupid useless surveys while drooling on a computer all while the whole world falls to pieces all around them .....

I was just hoping to get big moose nuts like Riley Wyna.

I'm not sure what I'd do with them, but I heard it's good.

Edit: Werner, someone has to design the marketing materials for corporations that try to profit from outdoor activities. Awareness of male/female motivations is probably important for that. Look at a North Face catalog versus a Prana catalog. There's sausage vs. butterfly for you right there.
