So looking at Prak Rats post about the Christmas card and the presidents dog, as per norm i seem the usual racist angles being played. Ive been called a racist on here ten thousand times in the politard threads and not once was it actually valid.

First and foremost, when i looked at the post, i thought,, cool- a pooch having fun in the snow. No i didnt think a BLACK dog in front of the whitehouse meant ANYTHING whatsoever, and my favorite dogs are BLACK LABS.

My current pooch be black and white. This should be proof positive that im well beyond racism..;-)

The angles being played over and over here dont even deal with the actual issue which IS CULTURAL-ISM.. Its NOT the color of ones skin that defines the character. More likely it is cultural differences that are at odds.

When we invite throngs from third world countries, many of those habits come with them. The degradation of many a neighborhood has been the result. They begin to take on the look and feel of those third world areas from whence they came. And being illegals and un documented people, they tend to flock amongst those of the like nature. And then comes "ghettos" and slums if you will for a lack of a better wording while property values fall..

In Carson city, it has been quite evident over the past ten years of the areas where most of the illegals, gangs, and other undocumented people now live. Complete sections of town - and for the most, the landscape, trees -lawns and plants are killed off to make room for multiple cars from multiple familys in one residence. Break ins and police reports STACK up in these areas as well, putting a significant burden upon local LEOs.. Trash is piled where ever, or dumped where ever, because thats they way they did it in TJ.. They have illegitimate businesses that they advertise by folding traffic barriers and hand written signs. Ive seen these folks go to the river and dump their trash right out onto the ground. Ive seen them being busted by game wardens for having fifty fish over the legal limit and no fishing licenses. Because thats they way the did it in Mexico, or Brazil..

In the Bay area, the nightly news rarely fails to mention the latest shootings, drive bys, and dead bodies found from this exact same CULTURAL influence.

The many good and legal folks that immigrated here to be part of America ISNT the problem. Thats how America came to be. What IS the problem is the CUTURAL influnces of those that come here just for the money or benefits, unwilling to be part of America, but rather a seperate faction that have so far been quite negative. Three generations of the same family that dont even speak the accepted standard language says something too.

Ill accept the CULTURAL-ist label, but NOT the racist label.

But when you see Obama do you think BLACK PRESIDENT? Nobody accused you of being biased in regards to the color of a dog's coat.

Sigh - it really isn't a matter of what you'll 'accept'. Dude, you seriously need to move somewhere whitey'er, you know like northern New Hampshire.

inept

 1. without skill or aptitude for a particular task or assignment; maladroit: He is inept at mechanical tasks. She is inept at dealing with people.
2. generally awkward or clumsy; haplessly incompetent.
3. inappropriate; unsuitable; out of place.
4. absurd or foolish: an inept remark.

tell me this isn't your view of all non-white folks.

If you were at all critical you'd know that this president is magnitudes more equipped for the job than anyone in the buche administration.

It takes a real troll to post up this thread.

When we invite throngs from third world countries, many of those habits come with them. The degradation of many a neighborhood has been the result.

Kinda like when all them dirty wops piled into New York. Or the polacks and krauts dirtying up Chicago. Yup, those disgusting subhumans sure did wreck every place they invaded, didn't they?

They brought their criminal gangs with them, and filled the headlines with murders. And not only that, they smelled bad, ate weird food, crowded into rundown tenements...

uh, cuz its a highly populated area in the US, where guns are easier to come by than food stamps?

Why do YOU think complete areas in carson are now known as the local barrios?

Because barrio is Spanish for neighborhood?

Don't get me wrong... I enjoy interacting with you. I just prefer to believe your perspective is broader than you let on.

I am sure that many a Chippewa, Sioux, Navajo, and the multitudes of other neighborhood tribes would agree with that!

Poverty and the culture surrounding it seems to have many of the same traits throughout human experience regardless of race geographic location.

Overcrowded and low quality housing. Substance abuse, depression, low sanitation. High levels of violent crime. high pregnancy rates.

You can find these slum environments in every nation on earth and among ALL races.

this is just observational fact. Why it is so and how to help is among the deepest of issues to contemplate.

Racist sentiment is something else entirely. It seems to be a deeply embedded genetic predilection. One that can be reinforced or overcome depending on the individual. Something to do with the tribalistic nature of humanity. It also is found in every race and geography on earth. But it is also found among every socio economic strata of every society on earth.

It is a sickening trait in a modern society. It is common and I enjoy stomping on it every chance I get.

I have never called or considered Ron Racist however.

I do suspect TGT is.

If you get over stressing the PC crap, Ron has a point. Here in VT we have a culture problem as well that comes from the cities south of us. We get the drug gangs from Albany NY , Springfield MA and Hartford CT. They come to VT and try to live the same way here that they lived in the city. It's turning some of our small citys and towns into shitholes. Don't know what the right answers or solutions Are. I do know that there is no need to bring that crap to such a beautifull and peacefull place.

Often decent parents will move with their children to do their best to get them away from the gang sh!t...

Problem is, many of the kids they're taking with them are in those gangs and thus the problems occur...

I watched it happen in the Lancaster/Palmdale area (a bedroom community to LA) some years back...

Now that area is over run with drug issues and gangs...

Southern Florida is another perfect example...

Ron isn't talking about "the drug gangs" he is talking about "the Mexicans" and "the Blacks." There is a big difference. He almost acknowledges the difference with his trite "I have MANY Mexican friends" comments, but continues to lump based on race rather than economic status, social mobility, income, etc. What is the definition of racism again?

Here's a tale of two cities - Seattle and San Bernardino.

San Bernardino has had twice as many murders this year than Seattle, yet Seattle has three times the population as San Bernardino.

What would explain that huge difference, besides demographics?
