While Bmacd seems a bit over zealous in his delivery, none the less i do think it to be a bit "eeeesh" myself- having come from a much more "natural" generation of crusty ol farts.
It struck me as being oddly beyond "metro"..nttawwt..but ODD for a climber "shot" ...
