I've had jungle fever since kindergarten. As to not offend, let's just say I'm slightly boy crazy with a liking for the ones dipped in chocolate.

from what I am reading here, sounds like you'd have better luck with Yellow Fever...the kids would be stunning! It's ok...yellow fever won't kill you... ;) just make you sweat soy sauce!

but still, so weird to see on the internet that my very brown self doesn't really qualify as part of the 'women with a little darker complexion' crowd.

Damn I've been having fun being Token...my friends were counting on me being Token too (they like having PC pics...:P) Aw MAN, now NO ONE will want to climb with me!

hahaha, you'll find a way dude, just keep polishing that game... ;)

cheers

OK, you honky losers jonesing for a life - as the only dood here with street
cred in Accra, Yaounde, Kinshasa, Goma, and Jo'berg I'm gonna tell you what
it is. Firstly, since brain damage from blunt force trauma and solar radiation
is so rampant here, most of you seem to have forgotten the teachings of The Werner:

Climbing rocks is stoopid and will get you killed, period.

When you grow up in the jungle, or the hood, you already know lots of ways
to get killed. You don't need or want any more. Life is about survival
and bettering yourself. As a corollary to that even if you don't get killed
straight away rock climbing is painful, involves long boring walks, lots of
boring sitting around with boring white doods (mostly), it is either freezing
cold or deathly hot, and it is boring. Oh, and in no way is it going to
better you unless you place unwarranted value on sitting around spewing about
your past boring exploits on the internet.

Secondly, after the climbing is done for the day and the boring white doods
finally get around to dancing, well, let's just say it isn't a pretty sight:

This is my kind of "jungle fever", and what I was hoping this thread was going to be about.

My black friends here on the eastside think climbing is stupid and WILL NOT go with, even with the offer of beers and collie while we climb.I'm thinkin' it might be superior brain genetics ;-).Funny thing is that they're really into snowmobiling and snowboarding.Common refrain from one friend when the climbing topic comes up,"white people are crazy".

Well.....guys usually go for what is challenging. Why go for something when you have 'better luck' with it? Every other white guy has an Asian girlfriend! Go for the challenge!
If Burchey picks up a black climber chick in near future he deserves the 2013 Piolet D'Or in my book!

truth, but if he's gonna go for the more difficult challenge...

then it looks to me like he's got to up his game... ;)

when the 'hard to find, hard to get' is your only goal, your game's gotta be up to the task, and results are the true measure, regardless of the hardships...

just sayin'...

:)

Just whipped up the freshest glass of Lulz-juice you've ever seen...nothing finer than a bunch of climbers advising you that you need to "step up your game". Worry not about my game, young ones. Worry more about the giant lack of diversity in the climbing community.

Ok, I get it. Blame yourself. As long as you are friends with the same people that post photos of their new Lynx crampons on their facebook you will not get anywhere.
How about move to Compton and open up the first climbing gym there? Sistas will come.

PS: I am busy tonight. How about tomorrow?

if you can't find it...

grow it! Can't find a full developed rope/life/adventure/bed partner of your specifications? Plant a seed, culivate, and...reap the rewards. All part of the game to get what you want, right Mr. 'i got game'?

I see this all the time.

I think it kinda depends...

on just how much you are willing to invest, no?

I actually think Ladyscarlet likes you. You win, again. lol

I don't see you in 'my bushes,' maybe when I shave you will be more obvious...

I've got about 0 interest ( margin of error +/- lol) in chasing tail/love/etc.

Actually, I do not understand why people are so focused on chasing tail/love. Especially in my culture. Stupidity.

Watched a buff African American fellow with 2 blonde slam pigs have a grand old time at the discovery wall in Pinnacles.

Brand new rack, shoes, and harness. Proceeded to climb all of the gear routes up through Jorgies crack in difficulty. Onsight, no guidebook, towing his piggies up and down.

Said it was his second time climbing.

Probably just a natural.
