Ok,, ive heard of them, heard about people experiencing them. I myself have never.

Now, a close buddy of mine had an uncle die from alcoholism last Dec in a small NV town. He is in the process of selling that place to a local woman whom knew his uncle.

She informed him yesterday that she is moving out because:

At 1:15 am every morning she is awoken as is someone is shaking her. Every morning . She has woken up to find herself on the kitchen floor with bumps and bruises to her head and body.
Add to this her three grandchildren coming to stay with her a few days,, not being happy at all, then going back home to their parents and they telling their parents of an angry mans voice at night that was scaring the hell out of them..

Also note the lady is DEAF, and has never believed in ghosts..

Twilight zone??????????????????????????????????????

The reason this is so disturbing is that the Lady seems sensible and factual in every way. She has taken very good care of the place as well.

Believer here...not just in ghosts but premonitions also. The experiences have been few and far between but real...oh so real....mine weren't frightening except for the premonition I had in college about my boy friend being killed in a car accident. Which did happen several months later...i never told him about it; Lost a bro in Nam...no premonition about that nor any spiritual visitations from him....yet....but an elderly great aunt...several

My friend owns a magazine and a famous historical house near Pasadena...He was using the house as his business office and one day one of his employees told him that he keeps seeing someone walking around inside...My friend knew there was a ghost in the house and nonchalantly told the employee that he had also seen it..

This has both my buddy and i scratching our heads. But when he was telling me about this,, the hair on my neck was standing. The Uncle was unhappy in life and how it had gone and basically drank himslef to death.

A freind of ours in Markleeville has experience with such things and to her this all makes perfect sense as she says that the pummelings being reciecved by the deaf lady are actings out of the uncle and his girlfriend which was a somewhat violent relationship. So he now takes it out on the deaf lady living there. We plan on a "releasing" of some sort- of which i know no details, but she says his spirit is stuck between the here and there.

My buddy said the deaf lady had dark circles under her eyes as well as knotts on her head so he actually saw the results. She likes living there, knew his uncle and wishes to stay,, BUT she wont of this continues. Pretty Wierd way to start the day....

alcoholism

Long term bad juju in that house. It builds up. The house needs to be cleared and the ghost sent on its way. Plus there are also probably a few other unfriendlys to deal with.

uncle and his girlfriend which was a somewhat violent relationship

Yep.. Definitely more unfriendlys

Casper
While Bloody Mary spends her time in the ghostly realms waiting to be summoned to dark bathrooms so she can scare kids, Casper (whose legal last name is "The Friendly Ghost") is the white-outlined, smiling ghost who tries not to scare people. In the Harvey comic book series, Casper was often joined by friends such as Wendy the Good Little Witch and Hot Stuff the Little Devil. While some found the idea of a dead child's ghost hanging around with a witch and a devil a bit creepy, the characters were made benign and kid-friendly with the addition of "good," "friendly," and "little" to their names. Casper had a revival of sorts with a self-titled 1995 film, a modest success that managed to avoid the direct-to-video graveyard.

JohnM,,Thats what our friend says!!!!

As i believe in SOULS, im rethinking the "ghost" thing now.. And to be down right honest,, that is a little disturbing to me!!

Of course i know small NV towns well, and those types that inhabit them. Many are "strange" in one way or another.. But this lady seems to be a very articulate sensible person. Who gets woken up at 1:15 am every day , day in, day out.

Im trippin...

I really want to be there for the "releasing" as I knew Uncle T as well..He was my age, and a good NV man really. The alcohol got a grip on him though, and wouldnt let go. He was a great Uncle to my buddy- they hunted all over the state and had many a wild venture. If his soul really is stuck- he needs to be released for HIS good let alone the mental well being of those around still..

Yep.. its trippy.

Just to be clear. There is a big big difference between the energy of a mostly happy drunk and a mean angry drunk.

I don't like the sounds of this. Scary stuff.
I have seen ghosts and felt ghosts but when a ghost started f*#king with me, that's the next level.

Our friend mentioned that as well John! The fights between him and his old girlfriend, the alcohol and the un -happiness. She says it makes perfect sense of the goings on there. Also, when the lady wakes up on the kitchen floor, she has a taste of alcohol in her mouth as well.. She didnt know all the history of the Uncle either..

And the deaf lady has been putting up with this since spring- fuggin trip--all ive been hearing is the theme from twilight zone.

well.. sorta depends on whether you realize its a ghost or not. :-)

ghosts aren't scary. They can't physically harm you. They can mess with your head though.

But in situations like this where there was long term abuse and a mix of anger and violence. Then that means there is something beyond a ghost to deal with.

As for getting rid of the ghost, that can be tricky because a lot depends on how bad they want to stick around.

Once you get to the other stuff, that depends on how powerful it is and how powerful the person dealing with it is.

I'm sort of laughing here because I don't usually talk about this stuff on an open forum.
