Had fun on Waterhouse Peak yesterday. Super light pow up top. Could be the last good day of the season the way it's been going....High temps on the way.

I always manage to take no pictures on the way down haha. I took some gopro footage, I'll try to upload that later.

Looks fun Briham! I'm gonna be in the valley in early May, maybe we could rope up for something?

Hi Neebs,

Thanks.

There weren't any people on the chairs because they close that area to do the avalanche control work. So all good, and no one was hurt except for a few buildings!

Finished out a ho hum California ski season at Kirkwood. Luckily, our Epic passes were good at resorts in Colorado and Utah. Plus we got skiing at our beloved Bridger Bowl.

Can't believe how he screwed up the landing...

I saw an interview, he said that he freaked out in the air and closed his eyes and prayed to god that he would be ok. Obviously he lost his balance because his eyes were closed but it probably saved his life.

Not exactly big air but still impressive in its own way. May dad skiing yesterday a couple of weeks before he turns 87, he has skied continually since the early 50's. Had heart surgery last year when a bee sting almost took him out so this was his only day this year. Also made him drive up and back.

+1 Bruce. Luckily the average person will never need to hire a "pro skier".

I think another reason buddy lawn darts so bad in the vid is because he probably hits terminal velocity and has no momentum so he just turns into a falling leaf.

Check this one out, 100' higher than the one Jim posted they say. Again, intelligent calculation seems absent....

I fail to see any skill in the 255-foot cliff jumping stunt.

He nailed that landing, didn't he? Now that's skill!

Nice pics Susan and Rick A!

Thanks for the post mrtrophy! Always nice to see the older generation still getting after it!

Wow Ryan.. I can't believe they didn't have spotters calling him off left. Did he even look at the line first??

Big Sky closed on Easter Sunday with over 100" at mid-mountain--this year Ladd decided to do the pond skim, and waited in line for 40 minutes to enter. He even turned down a $100 bill for his place in line.

Tons of speed and too much back lean produced this--it DID make the Bozeman news that evening with the Best of Pond Skim '14

got back up to Beartooth Pass this weekend. Got in the rock creek Headwall a couple of times and were lucky enough to ski about 5-6 inches of fresh on the Gardner Headwall yesterday morning.

Some shots from skiing over the last month and a half in Mt and Wy. I heard they had a foot+ on Beartooth Pass last week which closed the road for a few days.
