I was solo today, which I love, because I get to set my own pace and ride what I want. I got four awesome pow laps in once the alpine opened. Not much for photos today.. Just this little slice of heaven.
Oh we did a lap to top of holyburn then skied the western slopes back to the cars -pretty nicely filled in -one can almost open it up with fear of nurfing a tip into a bent over branch -that will likely come in the next few days. Hey it would be great if you can drag us out for a tour with loads of turns in your parts perhaps once the xmas rush settles down?
Kirkwood was awesome on Friday and Saturday. They only predicted a trace of snow, but it snowed about a foot up top. It was super cold so it put down some of the driest fluffiest snow i have slid on in awhile!!!

Now we are sitting at home contemplating making the drive up tomorrow morning. We're worried hwy 88 might be closed and the winds might be too strong to open the top....I think we'll probably be there tomorrow
Another day, another session -i do think that this is the finest skiing in recent (20 yr) memory for the north shore -we've got depth and none of that rain crust to contend with -just fluffy coastal goodness!

Which is nice when you're only expecting 5 or 6... The hills were dead, and I met up with an excellent crew today. The pace was awesome. No waiting in line, no waiting at the lifts for people, just go go go. So sick. I'm bagged right now...
I only got one shot today, but it was the only one that really mattered...
