Hey All,

Ed men!tioned there was a Birthday post here; very nice of you my Supertopian hero's.
Had a great day and went to the James Bond movie ... AWESOME!

Holy smokes what a year. There has been more growth than a bamboo shoot on a balmy day. I absolutely understand
(on a very deep level) the meaning of LOTUS it's a muddy endeavor but one of great endurance, and reward.

Climbing took a back seat for what seems an eternity -the exception: a few jaunts up the After Six route on the majestic Manure Pile Buttress, an occasional visit to the Sentinel boulder circuit where I got my A .. handed to me due to minimal finger strength, wilted forearms, and abs of flab. (kidding I could not succumb to such atrocity.) ha.

Yes, yes we are on the mend. Ed is in the thick of the healing process, a long slow yet miraculous experience of which we both have much respect of yet are grateful for.
I'm am certain Ed will be better than before and soon to be lighting up the talent that rolls through Yosemite with his light show, climbing his obscurity routes, and providing yet another flawless event for your 2013 Facelift event; hope to see you there!

I've had a hell of a year:
Rescued Biggie from Pet Smart hell. 32 pounds of love.
Endured the death of my beloved Bodhi. RIP sweet boy I miss you dearly.
Moved my brother from Berkeley to Mariposa, he's loving it po-dunk included.
Worked my tail off slinging drinks, cleaning vacation rentals, moving wood, and raking leaves.
Managed to keep the giant oak tree in the yard, 300 years old!
Bought the house in El Portal
Ed had heart surgery, survived and is amazing!
And I didn't climb a inch in Tuolumne Meadows .. OMG. I live an hour away .. FLAIL.

-so here's to TODAY.

The Tofurky's on the shopping list, there's wood in the stove, and we are well!

Go out there kids, and oldies alike .. go out there and get it .. get your dream .. crank your pitch's .. hug your kids, kiss your pets, eat healthy food, have cake, and ice cream too.

You are thought of with great fondness, each and everyone of you unique, and wonderful.
From us to you.
Have a great Thanksgiving.

Love,
Jo, Ed, Zorro, Merlin, Cutie, and Biggie.

Be Grateful All

P.S. I'll be back!

Jobee, that's a wonderful recap of your year and a fun addition to the birthday wishes. I love the idea of people responding with a year in review, it's fantastic.

Glad you and Ed are doing well and terrific news about the house, we didn't know about that.

You're a girl never at rest which is evident in your great success and rich life.

xo forever,
