Hey STers. I'm heading down to do zodiac and T Trip just after turkey day. I'm about to buy $250 in iron online. That shiza ain't cheap. I'm lookin to see if any of you out there have the pins I'm looking for and would like to sell them to a young wall rat. I need: LAs #1-3, 2 KBs short/thick,BD or CAMP angles #1(.5")-3(3/4"), BD peckers all sizes (crack n ups and beaks would be cool too), Logan hook, random hooks...thanks in advance.

Probably find most of that list at the base, after smoking a fattie and wandering around in the dropzone.

dont get peckers...get TOMAHAWKS!!! superior in every way except there is no #3 tomahawk out yet...I'd suggest getting Moses cam hooks too.
also you could get by with a lot less than you listed and may well do it clean

I can't imagine you'll need one third of that iron for those routes, I'd be real surprised if they didn't go clean easily.

Spend the money on offset cams instead.

I used to sell my body for money to buy pitons.
Hence, I always had only a little iron, and always had to leap-frog placements.

Check with Todd Gordon, he may have some pins and iron for sale. Get hold of me, I can get you some iron, got a friend with plenty of it and will be willing to part with it.
Peace

Thanks peeps.
I didn't think Id need more than a few sawed off's for placing but Ive only done the nose and salathe both of which need no pins. I do have one #3 pecker and used it a ton on WFLTIAD solo. All advice taken into account.
mucci - you bring the fattie. would DaBrims increase the protection ratio of our helmets?
Jeremy - sorry klaus is into your mom. That sucks.
Hudon - So which third should I get? I would rather do it clean. maybe more tomahawks/peckers and another set of offset nuts instead?
Adame - wow. way to make me feel dumb. Im looking at a second set now.
Ron - Thanks buddy. PM sent.

Borrow the iron, you will climb it mostly clean anyway, and without spending the $$ you won't be tempted to hammer to justify what you just spent....
