I think if he's banned that all bets should be off.

Otherwise I'd say give it to Kenny Yeager.

A promise is a promise. I don't recall he had attached any strings such as "I call it off if I'm banned again"
C'mon Jeff, if you're reading this.
This time make a donation to something that will actually benefit the 99% of climbers who are living on a worker's wage....or less...as well as the other 1%; instead of to the political party that got hosed in spite of over $1Billion spent.

And this doesn't count the unknown $$ spent by hidden (Citizens United) big spenders.

(said with the greatest respect for the support you've already given the climbing community)

lol, Silver gets points, but is their a non-profit status in that? Both seem pretty expensive, unless we're talking 7-11 in JT. lol

ASCA is always a favorite of mine.

Access Fund works for all climber's benefit.

We're short about $200-$300 covering the cost of retaining wall materials for the Suicide stairs and there's the static line and snatch block that someone stole overnight.

Just the snatch block is about $250 from McMaster.

I'm reluctant to spend Jeff's money for him, or make your choice for you, Norton, but I'd vote for either ASCA or Access Fund, because they benefit almost all of us, and have no other source of funds except the climbing community.

El PhatTrad's post to nature's FaceBook note: "It was close, just as I thought, not surprised. The 5k is ready, as soon as Norton contacts me with his name and addy, so I can give him credit with the charity."

People really believe that he will pay? Count me skeptical.

He has said more then once that what happens on the internet isn't real. He also says he enjoys making and watching people squirm.

I have no respect for the dude.

You sound like a back peddling typical money mongering right winger. Anything that will keep $$$ in your pocket.......
