Crimpie, I'll get one up. It won't go over well right now with recent news events...

And, my wife hid it from my son. He saw it when I opened it up and wanted to try it out. We did, but then it got hidden.

Kid safe, mostly. Just under Dad's/Mom's supervision.

I'm sure you can guess. I'll take some pics.

I look forward to seeing your prize Bluey. Hope you like it, but understand your reservations.

Lynne - let's see!

I sent out my gift earlier this week (well, had it sent out). I struggle to find something extra-special for my extra-special giftee. I thought long and hard - hope he/she digs it. :)

I admit to being like a little kid and hoping mine comes soon! :)

Secret Santa paid me a visit today, and since I am the type who used to scour the house to find my gifts as a child, I just had to open it....

Neebee, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful painting and dreamcatcher!!
It's funny too, because the photo you used, I didn't even remember posting. I took that a few years ago on one of the first trips to Joshua tree with my wife. It was one of those really cold and windy days, and it seemed like we had the entire park to ourselves. Seeing the painting brought back wonderful memories from a really great time in our lives.
The dreamcatcher is also wonderfully timely. I used to have one over my bed that I got many years ago. I had it at each place I've lived, which is many, and unfortunately lost it in the last move. A few years ago we had to move back in with my parents, and are still here. I've put off on decorating our room, because I didn't want to feel to "permanent" here. When I was looking at your beautiful dreamcatcher you made, I looked up, and the screw in the wall from my old one was still there. No installation needed.
Thank you again for the lovely art, they will both hang proudly in our room, and I will cherish them every day I see them.

OK Crimpie, Opening ..... they are so light and funny shaped. No idea what they could be. Secret Santa wrote in the card that he couldn't decide to send something practical or fun, so he sent one of each. He Hopes I'll enjoy them. Of Course Dude Santa. You have fulfilled my every, unknown to my own heart even, wish.

I opened my note and it read....the rattle is made of an elk rawhide head on a stick which I collected from a beaver dam showing toothmarks on the cut ends and around the stem where the bark was removed. The trim is beaver fur and deer leather. Inside the rattle is dried corn grown on an ancient native American site, a small quartz point, chips of jasper, amethyst and small stones collected from the roots of an upturned pine tree.

These rattles love to "sing" when sitting around a campfire with friends. Enjoy!

Did you know, Santa Edge, how much I love music and collect handmade instruments for campfires? Please come join us at Tioga Pass Resort in the Eastern Sierra where this rattle will be lovingly cherished and played.

Edge, the two spoons represent another great love in my life, cooking. I will take such good care of them!!! I love the Tiger Maple they are crafted from. The stripes in the wood are so unique. Even my grandkids were amazed that wood could do that. Thanks!!!

Much, Much Thanks and Love from lynnie

What a splendid day, holiday, and blessings to you LS Edge.

I received my Secret Santa gift from none other than Ms Tami Knight! So nice; a cool drawing and a tee shirt. I am now a proud owner of Tami Knight original!!!

My secret Santa gift went out this morning. Loaded down with a plethora of 3 and 5 cent stamps from the '30s through the 80s plastering the box. I hope my recipient gets it in time for Xmas.

Thanks Tami for the precious gift and Strider for putting it all together.
