This little puppy just popped up in the fantasy charts for next week. Snow levels are predicted to start high (above 7k) to start but lower over the 5 day storm period. Mammoth Mountain is thinking 10:1 ratios out of this monster - woohoo - think 5-6 feet!!!!

hey there say, ekat... we just got our first snow...
well, had a few flurries, but this stuck a bit...
VERY thin, though... not much...
but it more of an 'offical' snow is here now...
had it off and on for two days...
maybe tomorrow, not sure...
none on sidewalks, it melts off... but
the grounds are dusted here and there now, and
topped little bits, on 'tops' can now be noticed... :)
will try to post a tiny pic of the
view of it, from last night, through the ol' window, :)
it will be the shed, with it's first snow...
:) (not first HEAVY snow, mind you) :))

Ladd and I rode lifts at Discovery today, decent base and it snowed most of the day for some early area pow.
Tomorrow off to Big Sky for a few days to use up some of my "Free(k) Week" card :-)))

The garage at MMSA is actually bigger than the Kassbohrer Factory where they're built.
I've been away from Mammoth for about 10 years - but when I left, they had 53 of them. . . my heart would RACE every single time I'd go to the garage.
Those machines are an Anal Retent's Dream Come True!

P.S. The only thing that comes close would be a Zamboni!
Nothin' like driving something that takes total dog squeeze and turns it into GLORY!

Ekat- You got it. Two big yards full o' PB's. One for each hill. I had the pleasure of cruising around with a buddy on his shift one night last year. Pretty sweet! I got first dibs on the 40cms we got overnight!!
