Blues Brothers and Amadeus. I know, pretty much the same.
I am sure Aretha could throw it down on some Dies Irae.

It's funny how the music in a soundtrack gets stuck in your head vs from just listening to music, the visuals and the music combined must make more neural connections or something. Jingy- I was just thinking about snatch... that song by massive attack, couldn't even remember the name of the song or artist, but I could sure remember the scene, bratt pitt all pissed off in front of the flames.
all good nominations, honestly quite a few movies I haven't seen, I'll have to check them out!

Yeah, Grosse Point Blank, great soundtrack.
As for Tarantino, don't even get me started, though he has more dough than I do. QT is a tosser.

Yeah, but in this case the song has stuck with me since I bought the album/cd… Been a Massive fan for a little while.. I think it was when I found out that there was a production connection between Portishead, Massive and Tricky… figured if I liked the one I could like the others, though Tricky is an acquired liking. Massive Attacks "Blue Lines" hooked me and i never turned back.
Another thing… about that soundtrack solidifying a sound or mood.. That seems to be a big deal for me. Almost like the soundtrack can make an OK movie completely worth another watch, at least that's it for me…
Any Guy Richie movie should have a memorable score to go with it.
Cheers
