I'm more for the West Coast East Coast rivalry. Where is Detroit anyway?
I can't believe my athletics fell. I was so psyched for a California series. Again!
I was there for the last one during the earthquake. I just thought that A's were taking the field.

The Giants are a "near-great" team now, nothing more.
A Championship followed by a near-miss, followed by another series, win or lose, not so great. It takes 3 Championships for a team to accumulate a substantial number of "greatness points."
The old Oakland Team from the 70s comes to mind as "great." When you can remember team members' names after 40-odd years, they were great.
I'm not arguing with a thing you said, just don't go geting a damn swell head. It's the kiss of death, bro.
It's so sweet after all these years of limbo. Good moon's a-risin'.
Oakland's As would kill to be in the Series. Next season, with a lefty witch to pitch, it could be the season.
