Jo, but since we'll be driving from Göteborg (wink) it will be hard to get to Moskenes without going by Stetinden, ikke sant?

Haha... Göteborg, good route...

... and you don't need a 6000,- guide to dance on the devil's dance floor...

I change my mind regarding the 6000,- guide. If you choose a 6000,- guide, the sun always shines - see the proof below:

The Hidden Life of Trees

Peter Wohlleben talks about the natural world admiringly, wondrously even, but unsentimentally. “The question for me is not should we use any living being but just how to deal with them.” He wants us to cut down our wood consumption and enjoy trees more – he describes them as “plant elephants”. Have we lost our connection with the natural world? “No, I don’t think so. Perhaps we have a little distance because scientists over the last 200 years have taught us that nature works without soul.”

His book "The Hidden Life of Trees" starts with wise words for those entering a forest: “Slow down, breathe deep and look around.” Not only is the air cleaner under trees, as their leaves filter out harmful pollutants, but pine forests release defensive compounds that kill germs: “Trees disinfect their surroundings.” Trees also release oxygen, so a walk in the woods is “like taking a shower in oxygen”. Wohlleben’s aim is to let us see the trees and forests around us not just as “lumber factories” but as wondrous organisms, as complex as any animal. Wohlleben’s book will change your view of the wooded world.

Suzanne Simard - How trees communicate - thank you for posting this video, it should be required viewing for all. I'd have preferred the science presented more rapidly, in a concise manner without the witty lecture bits, but it was well worth the listen all the way through her reasonably entertaining talk.

The old grey Fergie (Gråtass) was a popular tractor at Finnskogen. My grandfather had one. I spent a lot of time with the Gråtass during my youth. It was slow, steady and reliable, and didn't like to be pushed... Great great memories...
