hey there say, norwegian... awwwwwww, you are not neglected, >:D<
just a tired, neebee, here...

say, sent you an email, too... and waited all day, to share...
did not realize, that:
a fast share, might have 'left a happy smile' then...
better than, the 'wait for a latter smile' , after i was more awake ...

happy appreciation thread, to you today!

may the forest smell sweet...
and may kindness come from those, this day, that you meet...

may the air, be crisp and clear...
and may good opportunities, for you, appear...

may the day turn nicely good...
from any hard times, that tripped you, as might rotted-wood...

may the thoughts of your inner self...
be sorted, well, as if goods upon a shelf...

may the day's eve, turn to wind-down-calm...
and some new joys, softly be yours, as, if, a balm...

keep your hand, to those good projects you got going on,
nowegian, you are appreciated! ... and a taco-quilt-square here,
placed in colorful overlapping layers, ones that remind us:

that life is not just 'sparkle' and not just 'practical' but:
life is also versatile and complex, and ever growing...

For well wishers: I corresponded with Weege recently and he is doing ok. We didn't talk about the taco but i assume he is on hiatus. Seems like a lot of folks have been taking breaks recently.

Best wishes brother and i hope to see some of your trademark prose here soon.

'here for now'

Waiting as our offerings burn
To cedars on the windy ridge
Revealing majesty in their poise
Where once we wished but could not go
To smolder about with vaporous steam
We whisper songs along the way
At spiders on the crystalloid stone
To make our breath count more for now
In awkward lone predicament
As quickly as we fade away

The Weej knows...
for what fabrications take work for me,
to him they come naturally.

I only wish I'd met the man in my days up and around the leap, but missed him by some twenty years. I think we might have enjoyed sharing a rope and some conversation. I do wish to see his words adorning this site one day again soon and wish him all the best.

Norwegian

I wonder where the man has gone
Who's poetry oft' a thing of woe
A chronology of misery
But it slayed to the bone
As the heart would read his pain

That guy is a natural
Where did he go?
Appreciated by many
His every nuanced proposition
And sad commentary
On the human
Condition

I gave him nine or ten at times
Though his aspirations
To drink his way out of purgatory
Rated two on my scale
But I'm no fan of remaining
In the low survival zone

Still he swept the ranks
As a poet child with heart
Somehow wounded at the outset
Setting his own prospects grim
I think I owe him some
For his raw inspiration

He climbs with love for solitude
A victim of the wide
And wrenching loyalty
To kith and kin but sorrow for
His love affair with drink
A woodsman ah

I speak no ill of the man
Who am I to judge
Or place under a microscope
I only miss and love
His way with words and penchant for
The off hand whetted verse

I've been a bit worried that we still haven't heard from ol' Norwegian.

I hope all is well with him.

His voice is missed.

If anyone knows the guy maybe check up on him. I think his poetry and posts are some of the best on here, miss them.

From a post of Norwegian's:

"sanity is a mystery.
it is a circle that doesn't quite close.
we intelligent beings are granted 359 degrees of liberty,
with one degree, undone.

that's my degree.
i cherish it.
i abhor it.
i scrutinize it.
i be it.

that one degree of insanity.
all life flows out of me,
enjoying venturi effects
with increased velocity and decreased cross section
i aint beautiful,
i aint grand,
i aint able to stand.

im sorry that i, by
choice must focus my energies on
the one degree that unravels me,
but this,
must be."
