Climbing season was all-too-short for me this year due to many complications with my house remodeling project, but I'm happy to see snow--or any form of precipitation! I'm still planning a Joshua Tree expedition for a week or so, around Thanksgiving. Either that or a very late October trip...

I stacked the split of the cropped photo. It gets better when you click to enlarge. It held up well for an old slide, 1975.

Nice thread. But I find ice climbing absolutely horrible. Had all my gear stolen in the spring of '82 and was happy about it. Weird, I do love to snowboard and surf all winter (NJ)...
