Chief has spoken. The second Saturday in September. While Big Mike is out cavorting with the yanks, some yanks will come and cavort northward. It'll be fun.

Dood, you're too fecking big. We need to tell lies about you when you aren't there and knock you down a few notches. Then maybe someone will climb with you.

LOL.

But to be more serious Mike, I really was looking forward to tying in with you again. Maybe I can get Donini to drag me up Calculus Crack. I guess that would be ok.

We dragged our butts up here last night. Pretty hot this morning, but we'll find some breakfast, then seek shade.

Apparently we're going Gondoleering.

Mari says there are some recently developed (or re-developed) crags up there, so we'll ride up, and then see what we can find.

Assuming there isn't a three-hour lineup for the gondola, that is.

Guilty as charged.

The sentence is having Anders follow him around the whole time in a gondoliers outfit and Mexican wrestling mask! He may never drift again...

Say, Ghost, since I'm likely to be taken down as an accomplice, did you see this guy up there? Several recent reports of him in the area.

Psyche Ledge bump.
Fifteen days to go?

As some may have noticed, the north end of the Ledge got a bit of a haircut from the recent Hydro ROW clean up and now there's a BC Parks outhouse appropriately adjacent.

A light tune up with the weed whacker and we're looking good.

Looking forward, I'm advocating building some kind of sheltered hang with a bit of history.
In theory, a place to meet, sort some gear, stretch, chill, pose down, mime, pontificate and wax verbose.

BC Parks will support the right thing done the right way.

Sheckles?

Nice Mike! I got that weekend off too.

Chief, if u need any Sherpas or help on the day of with anything feel free to send a message.

As well, not sure if this is too far off topic to post here, but since it sounds like there's gonna be some OG's in town from both near and far maybe we should consider resurrecting Big Mikes exasperator exasperenza speed climbing comp? Either earlier the day of, or on the following day?

I missed the last one but it sure sounds like fun to clog up a classic on a weekend and burn some rubber for laughs with a bunch of cool people while throwing beer cans at them as they climb.

Now where's that manip that Big mike did.....

I'll probably do some site prep in the afternoon and ideally, hand the baton to someone else (Jim Brennan?) for a while.
I owe an appearance at our annual Squamish SAR social and will return to The Ledge a bit later around the time things start really getting out of hand.

I'm really looking forward to this years event, and my vote is in for the Exasperator speed climbing run earlier in the day!
Stoked that you'll be making an appearance Mike :)
