Hi Dingus! Run, if you must, but walking allows you to smell more of the flowers and see more of the blue sky above you.

I Enjoy you quality ladies quite a bit... you make me smile. Thank you.

I'm off to "prepare" for rehearsal aka review my script and the development of my character, so I wish you a peaceful evening... all the way around. I get to kiss a loved one goodbye as they head out for an adventure this weekend (I have a f*#king photo shoot on Saturday... agh, but a dear friend coming in from Michigan this weekend ... yay!) and I must say, I am pretty pumped about the days ahead. :)

Enjoying Life...

Leggs, I'm looking at the first week in April for OSF. I want to see Lear, My Fair Lady, and Taming of the Shrew. Two other plays are scheduled then too.

Anyone here watch Downton Abbey? I'm hooked.

I wish I had pics for proof but today I had a beautiful cycle trip through the flat forests of the Seymour Demonstration forest.

It's tame but it's a happy, paved valley for anyone.

A month of worry and thinking during a knee injury, has let me face up and simply ride a bike so I can get better.

DODGED THAT BULLET ! I'm so happy to be alive and feel that the end of a tunnel did not equal a chronic adjustment for time left going forward !

Thank you all for posting up on the thread... your joy and adventures make this lady smile.

Sullly, those dates may actually work. I'm gonna check on possible climbing plans for that month and see what I can work out. ~xx

Well, I've had a fantastic weekend so far... enjoyed a motorcycle ride with one of my cast mates after rehearsal yesterday, as it was so damn beautiful out. Then a meeting of the minds with two on my sunset gals... lovely lovely women.

Today is bittersweet as I celebrate the life of my mom...

Ouch. Barely touches the hurt and loss. Lost my Mom when I was 4.
Beautiful memorial you have there for her. You've carried her forward and lived the life she wanted for you. You have honored her.

It's been 8 years since mom left but there are still those times I find myself wishing I could tell her about what's going on.

I'm with ya, Michelle. . . my mom liked fun socks and every time I found some I'd buy them and send them to her. . . she died the day after Christmas, 2003 and I still find myself walking over to the fun sock displays when I find them!

Hi Michelle,
My heart is with you, 100%. I'm so sorry for your recent loss.
I wish so very much that my mom could have met my son. As he continues to get older, I find myself wishing I could talk to mom about life, love and raising a child.

I will say this... since she died at 35, I find myself filled with endless joy whenever I have a birthday. 40 now, I look forward to all the years ahead of me.

Kath... my sweet Kath... you rock my world, in the best ways ... I'm not sure you are aware of just how much love you bring. {heart hug to you}

I find myself thinking of my mom every time the wind blows and lifts up my long curls. I find myself thinking of my mom when the sun rises and when the sun sets. I think of my mom every time a train blows it's whistle.

Moms are awesome.

Truth be told at such a young age I don't remember her that much because she was ill for so long. i had a great dad and a phenom Grandmother (father's mom) that gave me so much "mothering" that I never felt "un-mothered". My Dad just turned 90 and is starting to have some "issues".
But those that have established a true Mother Daughter relationship and have it ripped from them I found, are left with a far greater void that follows them all the rest of their lives with the lingering shadows of "what might have been".
