Hi Bravecowboy... It's Jefe's beautiful sister, Betsy, lost too young, as well as the passing of the beloved women in my own life, who have renewed my spirit in taking life by the reigns, seeing the beauty in EVERYTHING, pursuing dreams without fear, and loving to the fullest.
God bless Jefe and his family, who are all individually fantastic, making for a remarkable family. I have learned a tremendous amt from all of them over the last 5 years. Lessons about love, forgiveness, grace, bravery, acceptance, and true strength.

I'm a mom...
My son is 21
going on 22.
He called me today
as I read a book
a cat across my hip.
"Mamma. Can you pick me up and take me to the hospital?"
Tossing Misa off my hip
I sat up
and responded.
"Of course honey. Is it your foot? I'll leave in 10."
I'm a mom...
My son is 21
going on 22...
He still thinks to call...
allows me to examine
his stinky foot
with the tender hands of a mother.
Trusting me completely...
Super tired and in pain
nothing's better than
a kiss on the forehead
when you feel like this.
