Its still a brown turd of a city. Just drive from one side of it to the other during rush hour. You'll wish you were in LA.
He was talking about Tucson, but it describes my recent experience in Boulder!

Sista. . . your phone does such a trippy job with the COOL photos you take. . . It's like there's some cosmic "COOLNESS" setting that only your phone has!

LOVE IT!

My phone is the most non-fancy phone, EVER! Hahahhahahha! When I take photos of human beings, they look like they have sandstone skin. Trippy!

Cannot wait to watch the vid you posted... Is it "work place" friendly?

:)

Her patio door was facing a large pond with a fountain and a pool inside the apartment complex. I persuaded them to go kayaking on the pond. Evil me ;)

Ha! Moose, Did any of her neighbors wonder what the hell was going on??
(that pond looks tiny!)

Thank you, Splitter... that is a HUGE compliment. I always thought my mom was so pretty, and much to young to have lost her battle to cancer.

I am currently 41.5 and every year I pass the age of 35, I feel blessed to have the gift of life.

You do look like your mom, Leggs...and from your posts, appear to be as beautiful on the inside as you are on the out.

I lost my dad to cancer when I was 11, and though time might help us to cope with it, I think most of us never truly heal from such a loss. We just bumble along the best we can with these huge holes in our hearts...and count our blessings for having such an amazing parent in our lives for even that short of a time.

Big hug to you on this day, my friend.

Gawd Kath--I watched Peter Kaye in that vid and almost wet my spandex laughing!!! My stomach hurts I was laughing so hard. Thanks for posting it.

Hi Sullly! I always think about you, esp. on Sundays.
Thank you for the suggestion... I think I CAN spare two hours, AND I have Netflix!

I hope to cut out of work a bit early and hit up my boulder to climb and catch the sunset. Peaceful place...

Thank you for your wonderfully kind words, Sullly... you always make me smile. Always. Stay remarkable.

"L" ... Your words, I couldn't have said it better, at all.
I too am sorry for the loss of your father at such a tender age. The pain never goes away, esp as we hit milestones in our lives. Huge holes in our hearts....hard to swallow.
The blessings of the times we had with them is priceless.

Thank you, L, for your kind, thoughtful words. *hugs to you*

I am sorry for your loss, Leggs.

You are continuation of you mother, she lives in you.

You got me thinking about my close ones that passed.

Thank you.

Andrzej

Hi Moose friend... she does live inside me, 100%. Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it.

The ones we've loved and have lost do make us pause, and hopefully, hug and appreciate those around us even more.

Hugs to you, Andrzej ~

On the day of my mother's passing, it was MLK Day and my brother and I happened to be home from school. With in-home hospice in place, we knew mom was in the best hands, and free of pain. I am blessed to have been home that day, and to have been by her side as she took her last breaths.

I think about her passing and the times the holes in my heart have been so big, I've been brought down right to my knees in grief. With that said, I would not be the woman or mother I am today without experiencing this loss or grief. It caused me to become a mother who EVERY SINGLE DAY told my Pickle how much he was loved and selected quality time over material items to show my appreciation for him. I still tell Pickle, every day, in one way or another, how very much I love him. That's why this thread starts off with a photo (or 3) of my kid.

BR singing Angel from Montgomery is one sad song, I cry every time I hear it knowing just how much of a feast life truly can be, enjoy life indeed. It comes along one piece at a time. Thanks for posting, much appreciated.
