I'm going to do an interpretive dance based off of "TFPU".

I'll film it, of course.

CrankOnQueenie. . . that would be GOOD!

Ya know. . . a Village People rendition of it would be pretty good, too!

TFPU!

I've been enjoying life a lot more in recent times and really trying to make the most of every moment. 2 summers ago I nearly broke my ankle and re-sprained it several times afterward. All but made me immobile for months.

It made me realize how much I really loved being active, skiing, hiking, climbing, anything to be outdoors. It made me come back a stronger climber than ever, but more than that, I simply loved it more and enjoyed every little up and even the downs.

It's amazing hindsight can show you how much you were missing when something like that is taken away from you, and how fragile our health can be.

Now as I'm typing this, I'm icing and recovering from a highball boulder fall yesterday where I crushed my heel. Thank god I didn't break my ankle. I'm trying to stay zen and I can see again how much I miss it already. Hopefully a few more days and I can really "enjoy life" again.

Cheers :)

Been days since fabulous ladies, Leggs and Ekat, have kept this on the front page. Out enjoying life I guess?

YeahBaby. . . Blanchard's been up here for days and we were slaving on the property. . . did one more big project on the sunroom remodel and got a lot done on the grounds - the TO DO list seems to be getting longer, though! We'll resume Monday morning . . . then when he's gone I'm'a gwan claim my place in one of the Adirondak rocking chairs on the back deck and I may very well sit there for a WEEK!

Oh Wowsa Sully, I can't even relate to that kind of high school sophistication. We were all beehive and chiffon.

You done so good with your kids...they have a role model of profound strength and grace. That's what will be the corner stone of their character...not a big house or wealth. Children of entitlement often struggle greatly when they need to get out on their own. You know that from some of your job locales. Glad to hear your knee is on the mend. Hoping to see you soon...we'll be back in Bay Area next week sometime.

Handsome guy! Too soon you'll be an empty nester!

Synchronicity ~ I hope your ankle is on the mend and you're back to actively Enjoying Life! It sounds like you've got a great positive attitude, regardless of hiccups. :)

Reilly ~ You have the best photos, friend. With that said, thanks for starting the dance! :)

Sullly ~ You sure are lovely... FANTASTIC photo of you. Thank you for sharing the prom photos ... GREAT lookin' bunch of kids. If I'd worn a dress like that, my dad would have sh#t his pants. :)

Being a single mom is a challenge... For me, the struggle has been fighting with Pickle's dad for Pickle, based widely on income level. Every time we went to court, I always came out on top, for the judge(s) could always see how much I provided my son, not with material possessions, rather, with quality time, love, attention, affection, and respect.
With that said, Sullly.... You've done well, friend... and your kids are so damn lucky. ~xo

Kath ~ thanks for sending me the sky the other day... ~xo

INDEED!!

I love love love those photos, Kath ... how wonderfully peaceful! What BEAUTIFUL creatures!

How I wish I had snapped a photo of the black cat in my bird bath this morning, and the sight of Mr. O'Leary staring intently through the screen door at the porch. He seemed VERY intrigued!

Thanks for sharing the beauty, my friend!
