Thank you for letting me in while you cared for your father, Studly... Angels were holding hands with you, your family and your Dad the entire time, and still do so as you navigate and process this tremendous loss.
L.M., purchased and watched the last two episodes of our favorite show. What could possibly go wrong the last five minutes? The scene before it is so sweet, I was crying. My son ran into my room just after because I was yelling noooooo so loudly. Some highlights:
a freed Bates changes facial expression, Lady Mary defrosts, Irish rebel goes shirtless.
I have my "O O O Face" on right this moment.
I love PBS Sundays and Sullly.
PS: The cast and I will be line bashing this evening. You are the only person I know on the Taco who will know what the hell I'm talking about, and I kind of love it. :)
Somebody once asked me if HerMajesty was my mid-life crisis. . . I politely asked him to take another look and ask himself if she really looked like a crisis. . . OR A CELEBRATION!
And. . . Leggies. . . your friend, Martie, looks so much like my friend Judy Threet it's scary! They could be sisters! Judy is one of Canada's finest guitar builders!
My daughter went on the HS ski/snowboard trip this past weekend (FEB 8-10 2013) to Stowe (VT). She said the conditions were absolutely great, considering that recent winter storm 'Nemo' dumped a foot of fresh pow the night they arrived.
A very good friend of her's arrives home after a great weekend and finds his dad (mid 40's) dead on the floor (blood clot). He has no mom and no siblings and is now alone @ 16 years old.
This kid was apparently very close to his father and an extraordinarily nice boy.
Make time for the ones you love because you never know how long anyone has.
