Couple of rigs, in situ for time out of mind, on my way over to North Cornflake.

Allis.

And this excellent hunk of metal that many of you NE'ers have driven by, I expect.

Dale, a pretty fair showing.

We'll crank up the Waybacker Tractor and hit the time warp. What say we pre-set for Fresno, early 20th century?

Hit it, man!

All these are taken from As Pop Saw It: Photographs of the San Joaquin Valley from the Files of Claude C. "Pop" Laval by Jerome C. Laval.

Pop rocks!

Awesome, Mouse!
I'd love a print of that shot "Leveling the Fig Garden".

edit:

Not quite tractors

That cat is certainly a tractor in the truest sense. Nice rust find!

Some relics now serving as the perimeter fence on a ranch off Yerba Buena Road, Santa Monica Mountains. Not quite tractors but topical enough for being in a climbing area.

Those are very near Bob Dylan's place.
Never had the oppo to climb in there, but we always chose Tahquitz or some "better" class of rock to climb. Back when gas was cheaper...

Awesome thread. You have access to an incredible amount of old tractors - Perswig's access is beyond belief...
