Since it's just you an' me here, Nick...

...couple of trucks you'd like...
...and a last tractor, for the moment.

I used to haul around a couple of those old pettibones, Dale. Those were serious death rigs. They ran, though. No extras, like brakes, though. ;-)

I've been seeing some really nice old tractors in my travels lately. I'll make a point of keeping a camera with me in the future.

NH is rife with them.

GhoulweJ, that Farmall is pimped!
We've also got a couple 8N's around here, show up at the usual fairs - sturdy little fellas.

Skully! The guy with Pettibone and Lull says the last owner of the Petti used it to move cars around a junkyard - that kinda cantilever action up high on a 4-wheel turning rig sounds skeeeetchy.

Brandon-, the potential for ending up in a ditch rubbernecking for old rigs is about the same as eyeballing for ice flows early season. Be careful and post yer pics.

There is a Pop Laval photo I've always liked of Henry Ford in Fresno in 1916, visiting J.C. Forkner.

Turns out time on the bike is good for spotting hidden hulks of rust.
Saw this tucked behind some shipping containers as I was fighting a headwind toward Friendship.

There's also a dozer rig that might be an ancient Oliver on the same stretch of road, but it sits behind a No Trespassing sign, and in Friendship ignoring one of those may mean meeting an unruly dog or a shotgun, so that one may wait.
