I finally managed to read this whole thread. I really wish I would have got to it sooner when Ian was still around so I could wish him well. My condolences to Michelle and Trevor for your loss.

It seems like forever since I have heard your voice. And at the same time, it seems like yesterday. Your beloved climbing gear is now in the hands of these beautiful "Supertopians" who will cherish it all the more knowing it was once yours. My heavy heart gets a tiny bit lighter every day, and when this wonderful community shows me pictures of your gear in use, I think I can actually "feel" your smile and your warm presence. I want to thank you for all the gifts you have given me in your life, and even in your death. You are now my guiding light helping me to stay the course and to always try to do the next right thing.
