I'll be bringing Ian's brand new Petzl helmet and pair of brand new, large Metolius Wall gloves down to the Valley with me if anyone wants them.

Guess who was up on the Zodiac on the first week of May---that's right: Ian Gill. Or at least his rivet hangers--and spirit.

I spread Ian's ashes on the Bridge, up on Sunkist, on the summit of El Cap and at the top of Zenyatta Mondatta. He'll wake up to a beautiful view every morning!

Flying Ians ledge on El Cap - Never have I slept so good up there. Thanks Ian!

wish we could have stuck it out all the way to the top. Smokin hot... 7 gallons of water for 9 gallons left of route.

Maiden voyage for Ian's gear. I thought the first time I would use this equipment would be on a big-wall-type adventure. As it happened, their destiny was to be indoors for the first time out. But the experience was remarkably rewarding.

I received the Metolius Wall Sacks via Mark Hudon. I thought I was going to bring along Ian's bird-beak piton for some extra mojo, but it kept jabbing me in the ass! For sure, it will come along on another trip, when the time is right.

This was the first-ever Boston Adaptive Climbing Clinic held at the Grand Opening of the Brooklyn Boulders climbing and art space in Somerville, Mass., Aug. 3, 2013.

Sean, Eric, NYC Adaptive Climbing Clinic Founder Kareemah, Arthur.

Arthur and Abby. I think the last time Arthur was on rope was rappelling out of a helicopter in ROTC. He was later seen cranking fiercely on the lower reaches of the bouldering wall.

All systems go. "Major" Dan on Ground Control.

Arthur going big.

Wheelies!!

Sean O'Neill, showing us how it's done – three El Cap routes in the bag.

Program Coordinator Bonnie crushing her lead test on a 5.10a. Yes that is a hockey puck giving her 360 degrees of edging power!

This says it all. Thanks Ian & Mark!

Wow! Thank you Morgan! It is all so surreal still. Can't believe I didn't see this until now. I love watching the journey of his gear, and getting to know the folks using it. Thank you again. Keep the pictures coming!

Well, just sold the helmet and gloves. The last of Ian's gear is sold and will be out there climbing and creating memories.

I sincerely thank everyone who bought gear and donated and I'm sure Michelle thanks you also.
