Robert Walker Jr was killed this morning during a street robery in Queens New York...

He was best known for his roles in Easy Rider and the TV show Star Trek...


He will be missed!!!...

Yes, I remember Walker as "Charlie X" in the 3rd episode of the original Star Trek series. NYC is a lot safer now than it was in the late 70s/early 80s, but Queens still has some really sketchy areas (I go to the sketchy parts because that's where the Colombian restaurants are). Very sad.

say--he looked a lot like his dad... his dad was a famous
actor, back in the old days...

i always thought it was special when son's resemble their fathers...
kind of like an extra honor and fun, for the dads...

Yeah, citizens shouldn't own guns.

Easy there, Ron. Nobody said anything about guns far as I can see, less'n it was deleted.

Been lost in Queens in weee dark hours. Pretty interesting wildlife in those urban canyons.

@locker: as of about 6pm today (about 8 hrs after the OP), there isn't a whiff of news on the Intardnet regarding Walker Jr's death. Did you get this info from your Hollywood connections?

an article about his life, from wikipedia, did say he was born in queens, though...

did not see anything yet--was it in a newspaper article, locker?...
