Yardbirds: Page, Beck, Clapton, not at the same time, as I understand: Beck played first with Clapton, left, with Page coming later. It is dim. Correct me if I'm wrong. I was only 15 or 16 when the YBs put out For Your Love and Heart-ful of Soul.
But why ask the question, if you know your answer? C'mon be real. It's as much a waste of time as climbing and wondering where "she" got to. Boy-oink!

It's par for the course that, in addition to the Partisan Bar on Main St. between L and K, in downtown Merced, the other bastion of the "altered state," our local head shop, sits at the intersection more/less of "Jay" and Main, a block and a half away...
It's name is the Strawberry Alarm Clock, with a painted window clock pointing at 4:20.
Totally normal coincidence. Twice in a week. Business profile: Merced.
First time I ever listened to a Cream LP on TG vacation, '66, at Mathis' house. He had constructed a light show with a cardboard box and a string of Xmas lights, projected light from holes punched in the box. Swabblr and Gobblr.
Shortly after, the original head shop, Middle Earth, opened in EXACTLY THE SAME LOCATION AS THE STRAWBERRY, MAN!!! Then they moved to the mall. The music died with Janis, though. Did someone just say that?

Listen to a Jeff Beck Group boot from the 60s (unfortunately they all seem to be of abysmal quality) and it will be obvious how much they influenced the early LZ sound.

In 1980 or so, I heard takes for Sir Paul were in the neighbor hood of one hundred million a year, that he was at the time the highest-paid entertainment figure on annual figures.
He's had thirty years to diversify, multiply and conquer new worlds.

That Merced sounds like a place to visit. Wonder how long it would take to hitch-hike up there. Nothing between L, K and Main in CV, they run parallel. Third north of K was rumoured to be the Wolfman's turf.
according to googily stuff, Sir Paul Mcartney is the richest man in the industry- worth around four billion...
I believe it, but Roger Waters has the biggest show with the "new" Wall.

I don't need a map in Merced. I haven't been lost here since I figured out which direction is north from here. It is a place to visit all right. I like that left hand, zB. Quite a compliment from the CV.
[This is some tangy Sove Blanc I opened. I'm having a Strawberry Monday Alarm Clock. Nice chilly glass, nice freshly-de-bottled white wine, the glass chills it to just under room temp, with a big-ass strawberry slit four times so it soaks in some flavor floating in the glass, stem adding some green. Green and gold and red. Don't care if it's Monday, Tuesday or Friday. If it ends in "y" why not?]

Duster Bennett sang solo, a bass drum, a harp-in-a-harness, and guitar. I heard him at CalExpo with Mayall, who introduced him. If Mayall was impressed, so was I, so I bought 12 dbs. On Reconsideration is another good one, if DB interests you.
