Snowy by melting fast. Tenaya was a slushy ice mush on Monday night and all melted by Wednesday morning. Got to have Stately Pleasure Dome completely to ourselves from 8am-10am. First time that has happened. Didn't see anyone else at an area we climbed.

Try to ignore the mosquitoes. Say and repeat: There are no mosquitoes. There are no mosquitoes. There are no mosquitoes.

This mantra is just as effective on mosquitoes as any current chemical products and my warranty is just as good as any of theirs.

Now are you interested in that half-acre on the south side of Tenaya? :)

The lake surfaces are soooooooo still, so serene, who would think that billions of little crawlies are in there growing, right now, smelling our blood as we speak?

Very nice photos, tho. Good job. Rough life.

Mike -we just got back from the meadows yesterday. Everything east of the Tioga entrance seemed open - we stayed in Tioga camp. We heard the TM campground is to open in a couple weeks.

The first pitch of the Yawn is always wet early in the season. I'd wait a bit.
