Word is the North Pacific is a shutdown for the season.
This time of year We get a steady diet of NW windswell and little Souths for nice cross-up bowls down in South SD.
Unfortunately when the big Souths start to fire up we have to head your way or down South.
I plan to give Point Mugu a shot on a big South to try and relieve my hate for summer.

Last summer when the 180 degree hit I headed down to Newport. 56th fires at that angle, we got some really good hollow days.
I've been pretty much in the San Clemente area the last few months.
Peaky days with some wave enhancement from the vape pen...
I do need to do a Mugu trip and hit the base again, I got a buddy that can get me on.

Here's one I found, got a bunch more.
This was at 56th jetty.
Keeping fingers crossed for this summer not to suck.
