Well I'll be, it's Bob.

Couldn't tell because his face is not distinguishable with the ball cap shading his face. As for the guy eating the sandwich, sorry I've never met him.

But there are hundreds of super good climbers that are unknown to the general populace.

Ain't the desert grand?

Werner, I can't think of any really bad guys in climbing just right now. Maybe mountains bring out the best in people?

There was that guy with his grandmother in his trunk.

Bob's reaching for the door because the VW bus is slowly rolling away down the hill in that photo.

Oh, oh, oh!
Werner, you mean LUKE.
"G-Ma in the Trunk".
Dig Bra, me and Mussy knew that guy, FROM OUR HOME TOWN!
Sierra Madre.
A big blonde guy.

Dude was in the boy scout group I indirectly learned to climb from!

No Lie.
Russ!?

OK, Werner. You got me there. However, I can't believe somebody from Sierra Madre would keep their Grandma in the trunk. That's just not how the Sierra Madreans are. He must've been from Arcadia.

If I loose another swig of tea to the screen here i won't be able ta fly this rig...bummmpy.
I ran into T.M.(The Great)at the base of Cathedral Peak last fall while guiding, within seconds we were all rollin, and my client almost wet himself laughing..then asked if he was a paid comedian..I answered.. Nah..T.M. does that for free! We had to check our knots a zillion times! He still rocks the Rat Room fire circle on weekends..you must attend.

Nice shot of Sutton! "are ya kiddin!"
